Job summary

MB Energy Netherlands is looking for an experienced HSE Manager (m/f/d) in Waardenburg, Netherlands, for 60–100% capacity. Bring 3–5 years in HSE/HSSE, a degree in Safety Engineering or Environmental Science, and native Dutch with fluent English.

You will develop, maintain, and implement corporate HSE policies, ensure SMS compliance, and translate regulations into practical instructions and preventive measures.

Qualifications

• You have a degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Science, or a comparable technical field.
• 3–5 years of relevant HSE/HSSE experience in industrial/logistics environments.
• Fluency in Dutch and English (written and spoken); German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and implement corporate HSE policies across operations.
• Manage and continuously improve the Safety Management System (SMS).
• Translate legislation and norms into practical work instructions and preventive measures.
• Plan and conduct HSE inspections and coordinate audits (internal and external).
• Lead incident investigations, manage permits and risk assessments, and ensure corrective actions.
• Promote sustainability and ensure quality reporting and ADR/ADNR compliance in transport and logistics.
• Collaborate with terminal manager, prevention officer, and MB Energy HSSE teams; prepare the annual HSEQ report.
