Job summary

Ranpak Netherlands is seeking an HSE Manager to drive Health, Safety & Environmental excellence at our Dutch manufacturing facility. You will own the HSE management systems, ensure compliance with Dutch legislation and corporate policies, and embed a proactive safety culture across the site.

Reporting to the Senior Manufacturing Manager, you will lead audits, risk assessments and training, while coordinating with Operations, Engineering, Quality, HR and external authorities to maintain permits

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Safety Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management or related field.
• Proven HSE leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch HSE legislation and ISO14001.
• Experience with risk assessments, investigations, RCA and CAPA.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HSE strategy for Ranpak Netherlands and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with Dutch HSE law, corporate policies, and regulations.
• Maintain and enhance ISO14001 Environmental Management System.
• Manage and improve on-site Health & Safety Management System.
• Coordinate risk assessments, inspections and preventive safety initiatives.
• Investigate Lost Time Incidents and implement CAPAs.
• Monitor HSE KPIs, audits and improvement projects.
• Organize toolbox talks and safety training.
• Coordinate internal audits and support external audits.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and maintain permits.
• Prepare annual HSE report per Dutch requirements.
• Act as appointed Prevention Officer and lead BHV.
• Oversee First Aid facilities and emergency resources.
