Job summary
Mars Veterinary Health Europe is seeking a Senior Health & Safety, Risk & Security Manager for the Netherlands. Based in Amsterdam with hybrid work, you will lead the development and implementation of safety, risk and security strategies across our multi-site network and partner with senior leaders to drive a strong safety culture.
You will manage projects including ISO 45001 aligned systems, support international operations across Europe, and maintain a regular presence in the Amsterdam office
Qualifications
- 8+ years in a multi-site health and safety role.
- Native-level Dutch (written and spoken) and fluent business English.
- Ability to travel ~20% and regular presence in Amsterdam.
- NEBOSH National Diploma and Tech IOSH membership.
- Excellent stakeholder management, coaching, and influencing skills.
- Nice to have NEBOSH Fire, CDM or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and implementation of safety strategies across multiple sites.
- Shape compliance framework and HSRS strategy with practical programs.
- Partner with senior leaders to drive safety culture and ownership.
- Deliver projects including ISO 45001 aligned management systems.
- Influence strategy across Europe by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
