Job summary

Frencken Mechatronics Europe, part of the Frencken Group, seeks an HR Business Partner to align people strategy with business objectives in a fast-paced, high-tech setting. You will translate strategic topics into practical plans and support managers in execution.

Based mainly in Eindhoven with occasional office presence in Reuver, you will drive workforce planning, talent development, and HR projects while acting as a trusted sparring partner for leaders and teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (HR/Organizational Psychology/Business Admin) or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years as HR Business Partner or senior HR role in high-tech/manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Dutch labor law; change management or HR analytics is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and coaching skills; connects with leads and senior management.
• Experience leading HR projects and improving people processes; able to drive change.
• Familiarity with Workday is a plus.
• Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

Impact Of The Role

As HR Business Partner at Frencken Mechatronics Europe, you will play a pivotal role in aligning our people’s strategy with business objectives. You translate strategic HR topics into concrete, actionable plans, and support managers throughout execution. You act as a trusted sparring partner, combining tactical focus with long-term impact in a high-tech, dynamic environment.

In this role you will report to the HR Director Europe & US and be part of the HR MT.

You will be based primarily in Eindhoven, but one day per week you will be required to work at our Reuver office.

What You Will Be Doing

• Strategic Workforce Planning & Organizational Design You translate business goals into workforce and team structure plans, advising on headcount, flex-to-perm ratios, and succession planning. You analyze team dynamics and support organizational restructuring where needed, balancing capacity, cost, and growth potential.
• Talent Development & Retention You identify talent and support leaders in shaping growth paths, development plans, and internal mobility. You coordinate onboarding, feedback, and learning initiatives, while also addressing retention risks proactively.
• HR Projects & Change Enablement You lead or co-lead key HR initiatives, from performance management to talent programs. You ensure practical implementation, build buy-in, and work closely with the business to embed improvements.
• People Advisory & Case Support You support leaders with complex people cases, such as absenteeism or performance issues. You act as a sparring partner while encouraging accountability and sound decision‑making.
• Data & HR Operations You use HR data to identify trends and guide priorities. You ensure smooth execution of core HR processes and collaborate with HR Services and Payroll to strengthen operational foundations.

You are a pragmatic HR partner who combines strategic thinking with hands‑on execution. You enjoy working closely with managers and teams, guiding them through people challenges with clarity and ownership. You’re confident in addressing complex cases, while also helping others grow in their HR maturity.

• 5+ years of experience as HR Business Partner or in a comparable senior HR role, ideally in a high‑tech or manufacturing environment.
• Additional knowledge of Dutch labor law, organizational change or HR analytics is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and coaching skills — able to connect with both team leads and senior management.
• You have experience leading or contributing to HR projects and improving people processes.
• Familiarity with systems such as Workday is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to turn insights into action.
• Fluent in both Dutch and English (spoken and written) – essential for success in this role.
