Job summary

Consultday is seeking an HR IT Business Consultant to help organizations optimize HR processes through technology, both in the Netherlands and abroad. You will drive HR IT transformations, design roadmaps, and work closely with client HR and IT teams to implement new solutions and improved operating models.

You will leverage your experience in HR transformation projects, communicate with stakeholders at all levels, and contribute to a range of activities from process optimization to service

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Applied Science or MSc from a university.
• At least 6 years of relevant work experience, preferably as a consultant within HR IT.
• Strong interest in improving HR processes through digitalization and technological solutions.
• Experience implementing HR IT solutions and advising on HR technology.
• Familiar with selecting (software) vendors and tendering processes.
• Experience with the insourcing and outsourcing of HR and payroll processes.
• Knowledge of process optimization techniques, such as Lean.
• Knowledge of HR Operating Models and, preferably, experience with establishing Service Catalogs and Service Level Agreements.
• Strong communication and analytical skills and can present effectively.
• Fluent in both Dutch and English.

Job description

As an HR IT Business Consultant at Consultday, you help organizations improve their HR processes, both in the Netherlands and abroad. You primarily focus on renewing HR IT within companies. You ensure that the HR department functions well based on the right technology, efficient workflows, and the correct organizational structure.

You analyze the current situation and use various tools, such as an HR IT Maturity Scan (a benchmark), to map out the IT landscape, processes, and organizational structure. Based on your findings and the client’s objectives, you create an improvement recommendation, including a concrete action plan (Roadmap), outlining the path towards a more improved and future-oriented way of working.

It’s not just about providing advice: you then work closely with the client’s HR and IT teams to implement the right processes and systems. This may involve selecting and implementing new software solutions, improving and digitalizing processes, or reorganizing the HR Operating Model.
