Job summary

ProfiNRG is expanding rapidly in large-scale Solar and BESS projects and seeks a Senior Grid Connection Engineer – MV/HV to take technical ownership of grid connection engineering within projects.

You will work on MV/HV designs, review SLDs and protection concepts, and translate requirements into practical solutions while coordinating interfaces with grid operators, customers, and suppliers. English skills are essential; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of direct experience with MV and/or HV grid connection engineering.
• Experience in industrial, utility-scale, renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, substations, switchgear, transformers, protection systems and grid interfaces.
• Experience with SLDs, technical specifications and engineering documentation.
• Strong English communication skills. Dutch is a plus.

ProfiNRG is growing fast in large-scale Solar and BESS projects. To support this growth, we are looking for a Senior Grid Connection Engineer – MV/HV.

In this role, you take technical ownership of grid connection engineering within our projects. You work on medium-voltage and high-voltage grid connection solutions, from concept and feasibility through engineering, commissioning and handover.

We are looking for someone who already has direct experience with MV/HV grid connection projects. You understand substations, switchgear, transformers, protection systems, SLDs, grid interfaces and utility requirements in practice.

What you will do

You will:

• Develop and review MV/HV grid connection designs;

What you bring

You are technically strong, practical and able to work independently. You know how to review, challenge and improve designs, and you are comfortable working with both engineers and project stakeholders.

You have:
