Job summary

Siemens Energy in Amersfoort is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to own complex customer projects from initiation to handover, ensuring profitability, safety, and satisfaction across networks.

You will lead cross-functional teams, maintain strong customer relationships, and monitor performance with KPIs, taking corrective actions when needed to safeguard on-time delivery and quality in a fast-paced energy infrastructure environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering.
At least 7 years of project management experience in technical/energy environments.
Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
Experience in project coordination or execution of technical projects.
Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

Lead customer projects from order intake to handover ensuring profitability and satisfaction.
Act as primary customer contact throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet safety, quality, schedule, and cost targets.

You will take ownership of customer projects, guiding them from initiation to completion while ensuring satisfaction, profitability, and safety. Engage with cross-functional teams and monitor project performance through key performance indicators, implementing corrective actions as needed. Your role will be pivotal in supporting the energy transition and helping our customers build reliable and sustainable power networks.

How You'll Make An Impact

You will lead customer projects from order intake through execution and final handover, ensuring a seamless process.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle, fostering strong relationships.
Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to achieve objectives related to safety, quality, schedule, cost, and customer satisfaction.
Monitor project performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Manage project risks and opportunities, ensuring proactive mitigation and continuous improvement throughout the project.

What You Bring

You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related technical field.
You have experience in project management, project coordination, or execution of technical projects, preferably in electrical infrastructure or related sectors.
You possess strong customer orientation and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
At least 7 years of project management experience in technical, industrial, or energy project environments.
You are fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken, enabling effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
You have a continuous learning mindset and a strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
