Job summary

JDE Peet's in Amsterdam seeks a GL Specialist to handle all accounting activities for the FEC, supporting statutory and corporate reporting, and acting as a point of contact for Controlling, HR, Tax and Corporate functions. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and at least 5 years'

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (or related field).
• At least 5 years of professional experience in finance.
• Experience in manufacturing or FMCG environment preferred.
• Strong IFRS and compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support Marketing, Sales Unit and Manufacturing Unit in accounting activities.
• Liaise with external service provider for outsourced accounting activities.
• Timely monthly creation and reporting of P&L, balance sheets IFRS and statutory reporting per rules.
• Process accurately and provide analytical support and data.
• Work in a timely and consistent manner.
• Apply and check against standard company procedures.
• Prepare reliable forecasts and track/report variances.
• Analyze issues and risks with project teams for investigation.
• Execute ad-hoc analyses for business needs.
• Maintain full compliance to internal control framework.
• Report on operational expenses of the shared services cluster.
