Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, is seeking a Senior Front-end Developer (Contract) in the Netherlands. You will lead front-end development, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with clients to translate requirements into high-quality UI solutions.

You will work with HTML, CSS, TypeScript, React, and Next.js, shaping scalable architectures, performance, accessibility, and SEO. The role combines hands-on coding with technical leadership in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional front-end development experience.
• Deep proficiency in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and React.
• Experience with Next.js is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS or related field desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of high-quality front-end solutions.
• Collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders to deliver digital experiences.
• Develop tested, documented, clean TypeScript, HTML, and CSS code.
• Build responsive, cross-browser applications for desktop and mobile.
• Develop interactive prototypes to test UI concepts.
• Drive adoption of modern development standards and practices.
• Apply UX, branding, responsive design, and SEO throughout the lifecycle.
• Conduct browser testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Produce technical documentation and test plans.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers.
• Build relationships with clients and act as technical advisor.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines.
