Job summary

EY is seeking a senior consultant/manager for Financial Due Diligence in Zwolle. The role focuses on in-depth financial analyses, identifying risks and opportunities, and presenting clear insights to owners and management teams to support successful transactions.

You will analyze company financials, map value drivers, and translate conclusions into attention points for valuation and deal structuring. Collaboration with EY teams and external advisors is essential.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, or related financial fields.
Master’s degree in finance or related field.
Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel; comfortable with data analysis tools (Alteryx/Power BI).
Experience mentoring or coaching junior colleagues.

Responsibilities

Analyze historical and projected financial results, financial position, and key drivers using data from multiple sources.
Assess EBITDA, working capital, and balance sheet to map value drivers, opportunities, and risks.
Translate conclusions into points for valuation and deal structuring; inform negotiations on price and terms.
Serve as a key link in the M&A process, coordinating with EY teams and external advisors.
Contribute to team development and client relationship building.
