Job summary

Suitsupply is seeking a Senior Financial Controller at the Amsterdam headquarters. You will lead IFRS reporting, ensure tax compliance, manage month-/year-end close, and coordinate external audits across international entities.

You will drive process improvements, advise on the financial control function, and act as a sparring partner to management and the finance team in a dynamic, global environment.

Qualifications

• Approximately 7-10 years of experience in a similar position or as an auditor
• Strong knowledge of financial statements and external reporting under Dutch GAAP and IFRS
• Experience with multi-entity accounting and consolidations
• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field; professional accounting qualification (RA or equivalent) strongly preferred
• Analytical, hands-on, result-driven, and quality-focused with a team-player attitude
• Fluent in English, written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Review monthly, quarterly and yearly closing processes under IFRS for complex entities
• Perform analytical reviews of P&L and balance sheet accounts; investigate variances
• Reconcile inventory position and goods movements; assess management estimates
• Prepare statutory financial statements and support external reporting at Group and local level
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax specialists and advisors
• Ensure tax compliance (corporate income tax, VAT) and support filings
• Drive process improvement, including updates to accounting manuals and master data
• Advise on professionalizing the Financial Control function
• Act as sparring partner for management and finance teams
• Lead CSR reporting from Financial Control perspective and coordinate related audit

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant field
