Job summary

Integrated Systems Events in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, is seeking a Junior Financial Controller (f/m/x) for a part-time role (24 or 32 hours across 3–4 days). You will support day-to-day finance across our international entities.

This hands-on position covers month-end close, management reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and internal controls, working closely with colleagues and suppliers across Europe and reporting to the Senior Finance Director in Amsterdam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Experience in multi-entity or international environments is a strong plus.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP.
• Experience with Payhawk expense management.
• Fluent in English; Dutch preferred.
• Based in Amsterdam or able to commute to Amsterdam office.
• Experience in a multi-entity or international environment and/or exhibition industry is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Invoice and payment processing across entities.
• Support monthly and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and GL checks.
• Support monthly management and KPI reporting.
• Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow support.
• Audit preparation and internal controls.
• Process improvement across the finance team.
