Job summary

ParkBee, a fast-growing Pan European technology company, seeks a Senior Financial Controller in Amsterdam. You will oversee internal and external reporting, audits, and fiscal processes across the Netherlands and the UK, shaping financial architecture and implementing new propositions while guiding the Financial Controller and collaborating with the CFO and Board.

You’ll drive optimization of monthly close, cash, and working capital, leveraging AI to automate and improve reporting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Accountancy & Control, Finance or Economics (preferably with a postgraduate qualification).
• 5–10 years of experience in Financial Control and/or Audit.
• Leadership experience is a strong plus.
• Experience with Dutch GAAP is essential; UK GAAP experience is a strong plus.
• Fluent in English and comfortable working in an international environment.
• Hands-on and pragmatic with a strong sense of ownership.
• Tech-savvy with interest in AI and automation.
• Strong communicator and confident stakeholder manager with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal and external financial reporting, audit and fiscal processes across the NL and UK entities.
• Manage and optimize core finance processes, from systems, closing to process optimization (AI driven).
• Projects: Refinancing, Tax optimization, Business cases, financial architecture and implementation of new propositions and new entities.
• Stakeholders: CFO, Business Controller, Financial Controller, Board, auditors, tax authorities and external advisors.
