Job summary

Prothya Biosolutions seeks a hands-on Financial Country Manager to lead the finance department for Prothya Netherlands. You will own the NL entity's P&L and Balance Sheet, reporting to the Corporate Controller, and manage a team of 3 AP clerks and external auditors.

Your mission is to transition the department into a high-performance unit that supports growth after the Intas acquisition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Economics.
• 5–7 years in financial control or senior accounting roles.
• Strong Dutch GAAP and IFRS knowledge.
• Experience in manufacturing, pharma, or Life Sciences.
• Leadership experience managing small teams and audits.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Close & reporting for NL entity under Dutch GAAP and IFRS.
• Lead the annual audit and manage auditor requests.
• Inventory analysis, stock reconciliation, and COGS insights.
• Maintain General Ledger; ensure VAT/CIT tax compliance; strengthen internal controls (SOX).
• Partner with FP&A to explain budget deviations and provide ad-hoc financial analysis.
