Job summary

Prothya Biosolutions Netherlands B.V seeks a hands-on Financial Country Manager to lead the NL finance department, report to the Corporate Controller, and own the NL P&L and balance sheet. You will manage a team of 3 AP clerks, drive month-end and year-end closing under Dutch GAAP and IFRS, coordinate the annual audit, and provide insights on inventory, COGS, and tax compliance.

The role also aims to transition the department into a high-performance unit to support growth after the Intas

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Economics.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial control or senior accounting roles.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Dutch GAAP; familiarity with IFRS and/or Ind AS is a plus.
• Experience in Manufacturing, Pharma, or Life Sciences with inventory and supply chain accounting.
• Leadership experience managing small teams and external audit processes.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP systems (SAP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Closing & Reporting: drive month-end and year-end closing; prepare statements per Dutch GAAP and IFRS.
• Audit Management: lead annual audit; prepare files and manage auditor requests.
• Manufacturing & Inventory: analyze stock movements, provide insights on variances and COGS.
• Internal Controls & Tax: maintain GL, ensure VAT/CIT tax compliance, strengthen controls.
• Business Partnership: work with FP&A to explain budget deviations and provide ad-hoc analyses.
