Job summary

Amgen Breda is seeking a Senior Manager Facilities & Engineering to lead the strategy, performance and future development of Facilities, Utilities and Engineering. You will ensure critical infrastructure remains safe, reliable and compliant while shaping a roadmap that enables site growth and operational excellence.

You will build a high‑performing multidisciplinary engineering organization, strengthen internal capabilities and partner with Site Leadership, Global Engineering and key suppliers

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or another relevant technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of leadership experience within Engineering / Utilities in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams and developing high-performing organizations.
• Strong understanding of critical utilities, technical infrastructure, asset management and reliability principles.
• Experience developing engineering strategies and translating business growth into infrastructure and investment roadmaps.
• Experience with capital projects and working with external engineering partners and contractors.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior leadership level.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary Facilities & Engineering organization.
• Define and execute the long-term Engineering, Facilities & Utilities strategy.
• Own reliability, compliance and performance of critical utilities and infrastructure.
• Develop long-term infrastructure plans aligned with Site Master Plan.
• Provide governance for capital projects and major investments.
• Drive continuous improvement through reliability and digital innovation.
• Lead the evolution of facilities and utilities to support GMP manufacturing.
• Build relationships with Site Leadership, Global Engineering and suppliers.
• Champion safety, compliance, ownership and continuous improvement.
