Xebia Group is seeking a senior Data Engineer for its Data Division, focusing on Microsoft Fabric and scalable data platforms for diverse client engagements. You’ll design lakehouses, build robust data pipelines, and champion best practices across CI/CD and software engineering disciplines.

Expect to collaborate with top data professionals across Europe, contribute to open-source efforts, and help teams deliver data solutions at scale in dynamic client environments, often in multiple locations.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant Data Engineering work with a minimum of 1.5 years using Fabric.
• Strong engineering fundamentals: version control, testing, CI/CD, and code review.
• Willingness to work across clouds (Azure, AWS, GCP) and open-source tools.
• Ability to design scalable lakehouses and data pipelines in Fabric and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Design lakehouses and data pipelines in Fabric and related tooling.
• Define CI/CD patterns and environments for Fabric deployments.
• Structure workspaces and promote best practices for a team of around ten.
• Explain design choices to stakeholders and guide client teams in data platform decisions.
