Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer in Amsterdam to design and implement scalable data solutions using Fabric, OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Factory. You will build ETL/ELT pipelines, transform data with Python/PySpark, and apply Delta Lake and Medallion Architecture for scalable, secure platforms.

Ideal candidate has 4-6 years of data engineering experience, strong Azure data services knowledge, and a focus on performance, security, and governance across data solutions.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience with OneLake, Fabric Lakehouse, Data Warehouse and Fabric Data Factory.
• Experience with Python or PySpark for data transformation.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, data ingestion, transformation and orchestration.
• Knowledge of Delta Lake and Medallion Architecture.
• Understanding of Azure cloud and Azure data services.
• Experience implementing data security and governance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Microsoft Fabric data pipelines.
• Build reliable ETL/ELT workflows for large-scale processing.
• Develop optimized SQL and Python/PySpark transformations.
• Apply Medallion Architecture and Delta Lake concepts.
• Troubleshoot data pipeline failures and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet data requirements.
• Follow security and governance best practices.
