Job summary

Fluence, a global leader in energy storage and optimization software, seeks a Senior Project Engineer to manage EPC turnkey projects across the EMEA region. You will coordinate internal engineering, external partners, and procurement to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

The role requires leading multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring safety compliance, and navigating country-specific design and regulatory constraints.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in design and execution of utility-scale power systems, PV plants, BESS, or similar energy projects in the EMEA region.
Strong EPC project experience with high-voltage systems and renewable energy projects.

Responsibilities

Manage external engineering firms, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.
Ensure engineering deliverables meet contractual requirements and are constructible across regions.
Lead design review meetings and ensure compliance with Fluence quality processes and ISO 9001 standards.
Drive value engineering and innovative approaches to improve system design and efficiency.
Support procurement by developing equipment specs and evaluating vendor proposals.
Review designs for compliance with project requirements and contractual obligations.
