Job summary

Fluence Energy, LLC, a global leader in energy storage and software, is seeking a Project Engineer (m/f/d) to coordinate and manage engineering activities for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and power infrastructure across the EMEA region, including Amsterdam.

You will lead external and internal engineering teams, ensure compliance with project requirements, and support procurement and design reviews. English proficiency required; travel across EMEA will be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering or project execution in power/renewable energy.
• Experience with utility-scale power systems or battery storage projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage engineering activities for BESS and power projects across the EMEA region.
• Lead external firms, subcontractors, and internal engineering teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Verify compliance with contracts, specifications, and quality standards; review designs and proposals.
• Promote value engineering and support procurement with technical specifications.
• Travel across the EMEA region to support project execution and stakeholder engagement.
