Job summary

Us3 Consulting is seeking a Lead Application Packaging Engineer to design, package, deploy, and support enterprise applications across modern Microsoft environments in Amsterdam. You will drive packaging standards, automate deployment, and collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to ensure secure, scalable software delivery.

The role requires deep expertise in MSIX/MSI/App-V, Intune, SCCM/MECM, and strong troubleshooting and lifecycle management skills to support enterprise

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Application Packaging and Desktop Engineering.
• Experience with Microsoft packaging technologies and deployment.
• Ability to analyze deployment and installation issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, maintain, and optimize application packages for enterprise deployment.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies for deployment.
• Analyze technical requirements for new software packages.
• Package, test, and publish applications to enterprise devices.
• Maintain and enhance existing packages to meet evolving requirements.
• Troubleshoot installation and deployment issues on end-user systems.
• Investigate and resolve visibility issues within Company Portal.
• Analyze deployment and cache logs to identify failures.
• Validate functionality after deployment against source installs.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, desktop engineering, and security teams.
• Support lifecycle management, updates, patches, and version control.
• Document packaging standards and deployment procedures.
• Ensure reliable and secure software delivery across enterprise environments.
