Job summary

OKTOBER is seeking a Senior Retention Manager to own strategy and outcomes for high-value Shopify brands. You will drive data-driven decisions, mentor junior marketers, and lead the retention roadmap across a portfolio of 5–6 brands doing multi-million revenues annually.

You will collaborate with founders and the team to stay at the cutting edge of retention marketing, enabling scalable growth and strong client relationships from day one.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on experience managing high-value/high-complexity accounts
• Full funnel understanding beyond email metrics
• Proven ability to develop retention strategy from scratch
• Strong client-facing skills with mentoring/coaching experience
• Agency background or 8fig+ brand experience

Responsibilities

• Manage 5-6 Shopify brands with >€5M/y revenue
• Own retention roadmap across portfolio and set revenue targets
• Develop advanced retention strategies and review campaigns
• Work with junior Retention Manager to focus on strategy and relationships
• Mentor RM1s and RM2s in client-facing skills and data-driven decisions
• Run client onboarding for new brands and set expectations
• Stay ahead of retention marketing trends and share insights with the team
