For an exciting project in the defense industry, we are looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer. In this role, you will design and validate complex electronic printed circuit boards (PCBA) for advanced communication systems. You will translate system architectures into electronic schematics and documentation, guide layout specialists, and ensure the final product meets the highest standards of performance and quality.
What Will Be Your Responsibilities?
- Translate system architectures into electronic schematics, BOMs, and documentation
- Lead complete PCBA projects from concept to release
- Guide PCB layout specialists throughout the design process
- Perform simulations and validation tests in a professional lab environment
- Ensure designs meet signal integrity and EMC requirements
- Act as lead engineer in multidisciplinary project teams
- Prepare handover to production and support industrialization
- Collaborate closely with hardware, mechanical, and system engineering colleagues
What Makes You a Great Fit?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in complete PCBA design projects
- Expertise in high-speed signal design and interfaces
- Experience with signal integrity simulations and board-level constraints
- Familiarity with connector transitions and S-parameter analysis
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Knowledge of intercom systems and/or complex network solutions
- Familiarity with COMe Type 6/7 & SMARC 2.0 platform standards
- Understanding of interfaces such as 10Gb Ethernet, HDMI, DisplayPort, USB 3.0, PCIe, M.2
- Experience with military design standards (MIL-STD-810G & MIL-STD-461)
- Knowledge of thermal design and optimization for processor platforms
