To support the further development of its products and technology roadmap, the company is looking for an Electronics Lead who will take ownership of product electronics and help drive the next phase of development.

The Role

As Electronics Lead, you will work in an interdisciplinary R&D and engineering team to develop products from high-level system functional needs to detailed electronic architectures and reliable, cost-effective solutions.

You will lead the design and documentation of electronics and coordinate the realization and maintenance of PCBAs for products and modules. In addition, you will ensure verification of electronics-related aspects both internally and with suppliers.

This is a role for someone who enjoys combining hands-on electronics development with technical leadership, while contributing to the company’s deep-tech technology and product roadmap focused on photonic and electronic integration and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop products from high-level system functional needs to detailed electronic architectures and reliable, cost-effective solutions
• Lead the design and documentation of electronics and coordinate the realization and maintenance of PCBAs for customer products and modules
• Ensure verification of all electronics aspects, both internally and with suppliers
• Bring state-of-the-art expertise on suitable components and external development partners
• Contribute to the deep-tech technology and product roadmap strategy tailored to photonic and electronic integration and scalability

• A University (WO) or Applied Science (HBO) degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering

• Experience coordinating PCBA development, production and quality control aspects
• Availability to work from the Alkmaar office and residence in the Netherlands
