Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions is seeking an Electronics Design Engineer (Mid or Senior) to define and implement the next generation of digital door locks within the DAS business. You will be involved from conception through production to end-of-life, delivering robust hardware and end-to-end system integrity for connected devices.

Responsibilities include designing electronics hardware, collaborating with R&D for prototypes, applying EMI/EMC rules, and preparing for mass production while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Familiar with EMI/EMC requirements and regulations.
• Knowledge of energy harvesting technologies is a plus.
• Experience in full design cycle of power electronic systems: conceptualization, design for manufacturing, testing.
• Experience with EDA software, preferably Altium Designer.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic hardware, schematics, and PCB layout with focus on cost, functionality and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with R&D and support teams to create prototypes for verification and debugging.
• Apply EMI/EMC experience to meet regulatory requirements.
• Mass production preparations and support to sub-contractors.
• Create documentation and specifications of the product or assembly.
• Support project leader with project planning.
