Job summary

• Strong CAD capability with SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Programming experience in C++, Python, MATLAB, or IEC 61131-3 PLC languages.
• Proven experience in designing integrated electromechanical systems.
• Ability to model and simulate complex systems.
• Hands-on embedded systems programming and system testing.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, model, and develop integrated electromechanical systems, robotics, and automated machinery.
• Combine mechanical, electrical, and software components to deliver comprehensive engineering solutions.
• Develop prototypes, conduct hands-on assembly, testing, and validation of systems.
• Utilize CAD tools and simulation software such as MATLAB to model system behaviour and assess performance.
• Program embedded systems, microcontrollers, and PLCs used in automated equipment.
• Integrate sensors, actuators, data acquisition systems, and other hardware components.
• Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
• Work with production and quality teams to optimise systems during deployment.
• Diagnose technical failures, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement design improvements.
• Prepare technical specifications, design documentation, user manuals, and maintenance SOPs.
• Ensure machinery compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Provide ongoing support through deployment, optimisation, and troubleshooting.
