Aeronamic is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to own multi-disciplinary development projects for electric compressor systems in aerospace. You will lead requirements, validation, and certification efforts, coordinating mechanical, electrical, software and manufacturing teams while interfacing with customers and certification authorities.

Experience leading complex aerospace programmes and strong stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• MSc in Aerospace Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years' experience in aerospace or highly regulated high-tech industries.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary product development programmes.

Aeronamic Innovations is developing the next generation of electric compressor technology for the aerospace industry.

To support our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer who enjoys taking ownership of complex multidisciplinary development projects and thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

You will lead the development project of advanced electric compressor systems—from concept through certification and production readiness.

Working closely with the General Manager, VP Product Development, Director Operations and multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will translate innovative ideas into certified aerospace products.

One of your first assignments will be leading the prestigious TePS programme, part of the Dutch National Growth Fund initiative Aviation in Transition, where Aeronamic leads an international consortium developing technologies for tomorrow's aircraft.

This is a highly visible role with significant technical and strategic influence.

What We're Looking For

You are an experienced Systems Engineer who combines technical excellence with leadership.

You bring:

• MSc in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Elewctric/Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in aerospace or another highly regulated high-tech industry
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary product development programmes
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• An entrepreneurial, pragmatic and hands-on mindset
• Excellent command of the English language

Experience with aircraft electrification, thermal management, power electronics or high-speed rotating machinery is considered a strong advantage.

We are known for our strong and comprehensive employment benefits. A selection is listed below:

• Gross monthly salary between €6,000 and €8,500, depending on education and experience
• An annual mid-year allowance of 4%, an end-of-year allowance of 3%, and a performance-based bonus of up to 3%
• A monthly contribution of €176.56 towards your health insurance premium
• 40 vacation days per year, based on a fulltime contract
