Job summary

Trinamics is seeking a seasoned Mechatronics/Electrical Engineer to develop and integrate electro-mechanical systems for industrial use in the Netherlands. You will design control cabinets, enclosures and networked systems, aligning hardware, software and mechanics into robust architectures.

You will lead functional and reliability tests, perform failure analyses and drive preventive actions, ensuring compliance with CE/UL standards and Machinery Directive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of proven, hands-on experience developing complex industrial electro-mechanical systems.
• Direct experience with industrial control platforms such as Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider or SEW.
• Solid knowledge of and experience with PLCs, frequency inverters and HMIs.
• In-depth knowledge of industrial networks: AS-i bus, Ethernet TCP/IP, PROFINET, CAN bus and RS-485/Modbus.
• Fluent in English or Dutch.
• You are already allowed to work in the Netherlands; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate electro-mechanical modules and control cabinets.
• Design enclosures for PLC-controlled systems and industrial networking.
• Integrate hardware, software, controls and mechanical components into robust architectures.
• Define and execute functional, reliability and acceptance tests.
• Lead technical investigations and failure analyses and drive corrective actions.
• Ensure designs comply with CE/UL standards and Machinery Directive.
