Job summary

Trinamics is seeking a Control Systems Integrator in the Eindhoven region to lead design and integration of high-tech control systems for semiconductor equipment, robotics, and laser-based modules. You will collaborate with systems architects and mechatronics teams to move concepts to reliable end products.

The role requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s in a technical field, 5+ years leading engineering, and strong real-time controller/tuning experience, with MATLAB/Simulink, TwinCAT, Python or

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Control Engineering, Mechatronics or similar.
• At least 5 years in lead or senior engineering roles.
• Experience with real-time controller integration and tuning.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, TwinCAT, Python or LabVIEW.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing controllers, including SW and FW interfaces, on both custom-made and off-the-shelf control platforms (such as PLC software in Beckhoff TwinCAT).
• Integrating, configuring and troubleshooting real-time controllers.
• Carrying out machine calibrations and controller tuning to achieve optimal performance and stability.
• Analyzing system behaviour and identifying improvements based on test results.
• Building tools for simulation, data analysis, diagnostics and visualization.
• Developing and maintaining Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulation setups.
• Acting as the technical point of reference within a multidisciplinary engineering team, where testing and validation determine whether a complex system runs reliably and reproducibly.
