Job summary

Trinamics in the Netherlands seeks a Senior Test Engineer to translate requirements into automated test cases and develop system test scripts for medical device software in an interventional X-ray context. You will identify system risks, execute comprehensive tests, and work closely with developers to ensure release readiness in a regulated environment.

We offer a permanent role with a hybrid work model (three days in the office, two from home) and extensive development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in verification of medical device software, SaMD, or regulated domains.
• Experience with requirement-based verification, risk-based testing, and system integration testing.
• Experience with BDD, defect triage, test management systems and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with test automation and AI.

Responsibilities

• Translate system requirements into measurable, automated test cases.
• Develop system test scripts using appropriate languages and tools.
• Identify system risks via threat modelling and design test scenarios.
• Execute functional, integration and regression tests (manual and automated).
• Test medical device software on image quality with interventional X-ray systems.
• Analyze results, diagnose root causes, monitor coverage and defects.
• Collaborate with developers to resolve defects with clear defect reports.
• Participate in system integration and assess release readiness and quality.
• Contribute to test automation frameworks and reusable scripts.
• Coach junior testers and stay updated on testing methods and tools.
