Job summary

Trinamics is seeking a Machine / Industrial Automation Engineer in the Eindhoven region. You will design and implement control and automation solutions for high‑tech, mechatronic systems, acting as the lead between mechatronics and software.

You will work on model-based engineering, coordinating autonomous subsystems and translating complex concepts into scalable implementations. English proficiency is required, and the client offers a direct contract possibility after assignment.

Qualifications

MBSE experience and software development affinity are required.
Strong knowledge of sequencing, scheduling and state modelling in hybrid systems.
Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow, Siemens NX, Enterprise Architect, UML Designer and Python scripting.

Responsibilities

Design and optimize control and automation logic for complex mechatronic systems.
Develop sequencing, scheduling and state-based models for machine behaviour.
Coordinate autonomous subsystems and ensure system-wide reliable operation.
Analyze system network behaviour, communication flows and timing constraints.
Implement strategies for damage control, fault handling and safe recovery.
Design mode-switching for hybrid systems with multiple operating states.
Create calibration, performance monitoring and diagnostics concepts.
Build and validate dynamic models using model-based engineering.
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical and software teams in a lead-engineering role.
