Job summary

SIRE Life Sciences is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our manufacturing organization in Breda. You will provide electrical expertise to maintenance and project teams, lead safety initiatives, and support CAPEX projects in a modern GMP environment.

The role requires a strong background in industrial electrical systems, NEN standards, and fluency in English and Dutch. You will collaborate with Engineering, QA, Validation, and Manufacturing to ensure compliant, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience, incl. 5+ years in manufacturing/operations.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.
• Experience as appointed IV under NEN 3140.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical expertise to maintenance and project teams.
• Act as Installation Responsible Person (IV) and oversee electrical safety compliance.
• Support new equipment installations, upgrades, and CAPEX projects.
• Manage electrical inspections in line with NEN 3140 and NEN-EN-IEC 60204-1.
• Review electrical modifications and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical and equipment-related issues.
• Develop test protocols, technical assessments, and engineering documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Automation, QA, Validation, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
