Job summary

SIRE LIFE SCIENCES seeks an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to support maintenance, engineering and CAPEX projects in a modern biotech facility. You will lead electrical safety initiatives, oversee IV responsibilities under NEN 3140, and collaborate with Engineering, QA and Manufacturing teams.

Requirements include a degree in Electrical Engineering, 7+ years of relevant experience, fluency in English and Dutch, and strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience, 5+ years in manufacturing or operations.
• Fluent in English and Dutch, strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience as an appointed IV under NEN 3140 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical expertise to maintenance and project teams.
• Act as Installation Responsible Person (IV) and oversee electrical safety compliance.
• Support new equipment installations, upgrades, and CAPEX projects.
• Manage electrical inspections in line with NEN 3140 and NEN-EN-IEC 60204-1.
• Review electrical modifications and ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical and equipment-related issues.
• Develop test protocols, technical assessments, and engineering documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Automation, QA, Validation, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
