Job summary

Panda International seeks a Maintenance Engineer Facilities to ensure safe, compliant operation of all hard services at a GMP-regulated pharma site in Leiden. You will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinate with contractors (including JLL), and manage building systems such as fire safety, CCTV, access control, and HVAC.

The role requires a technical degree, proficiency in Dutch and English, and hands-on experience in regulated environments.

Qualifications

Experience in facilities maintenance within regulated environments.
Strong knowledge of EHS&S and GMP quality requirements.
Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance using SAP or CMMS.
Bachelor's degree in a technical/engineering or Facilities Management field, or equivalent.
Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
Experience coordinating with contractors and external service providers.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Ensure safe, compliant, and reliable operation of hard services.
Maintain building systems including fire safety, CCTV, access control, elevators, and HVAC.
Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance and contractor interactions (e.g., JLL).
Support capital projects and infrastructure upgrades; monitor budgets and performance.
Drive continuous improvement across site facilities operations in a GMP setting.
