Job summary

ERM is seeking a Principal Consultant EHS to support clients across the Netherlands. This senior role combines technical EHS expertise with practical problem-solving and trusted client advisory.

You will lead audits, manage risk programs, and strengthen safety performance while helping grow ERM's presence in the Dutch market. Fluency in Dutch and English is required, with 8+ years in EHS consultancy or operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in EHS consulting and/or industrial operations.
• Strong experience in EHS auditing, compliance, operational risk management, and safety performance improvement.
• Fluent Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Leading EHS compliance and management system audits.
• Supporting operational risk management and safety improvement programmes.
• Delivering risk assessments, incident investigations, and hazard studies.
• Developing and implementing EHS management systems, standards, and procedures.
• Supporting Process Safety Management (PSM) and contractor management initiatives.
• Delivering safety leadership, behavioural safety, and safety culture programmes.
• Advising clients on integration of EHS and sustainability objectives.
• Managing projects and building long-term client relationships.
