Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Analytics Lead to shape and execute strategic initiatives across EU operations, working directly with Directors and C‑level executives. You will translate data into clear, actionable insights and demonstrate their commercial impact through measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities include advanced analytics, experimentation, and a thoughtful mix of self-service dashboards (Tableau) and customized analytical solutions, with AI embedded in workflows to drive efficiency

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or a related field, ideally within e-commerce.
7+ years of hands-on experience with structured and unstructured datasets, including data extraction and querying using SQL, Hive, or similar tools.
Strong statistical and experimentation expertise, including R², p-values, t-tests, geo-experimentation, lift studies, and related testing methodologies.
Advanced knowledge of customer and marketing analytics, including statistical modelling techniques such as price elasticity and other commercial/customer models.
Proficiency in Python and/or R, with experience leveraging AI tools and agents such as Cursor, Claude, or similar solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Sociology, or a related quantitative discipline.

Responsibilities

Shape and execute company strategy across payment flows, paid marketing, customer retention, and product strategy across the Group’s EU operations.
Translate complex analytical and data topics into clear, actionable insights for senior audiences.
Demonstrate the commercial impact of recommendations by linking analytics to measurable outcomes.
Conduct advanced strategic analyses to identify opportunities and maximize commercial value.
Determine the balance between self-service analytics (Tableau, AI interfaces) and tailored analytical solutions.
Embed AI into the Data Analytics team’s workflows, structuring data at scale and automating repeatable analysis.
