Job summary

Nebius in Amsterdam, a leader in AI cloud infrastructure, seeks a Senior Payroll Specialist to own end-to-end Dutch payroll in Nmbrs across entities. You will ensure accurate payrolls, compliance with loonheffingen and year-end processes, and provide a reliable backup for international payrolls.

The role emphasizes harmonization, process automation, and audit readiness, with close collaboration with HR Ops, Finance, and providers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Dutch payroll experience in multi-entity environments.
• Hands-on Nmbrs experience: end-to-end payroll, journal mappings and reporting.
• Deep knowledge of loonheffingen, WKR, 30% ruling, expatriate taxation and shadow payrolls.
• Experience with international payroll and backup for other country payrolls.
• Strong payroll controllership: designs controls, SoD/approvals, audit readiness.
• Experience leading transitions (vendor/system/new entity) and process automation.
• Collaboration with Finance during close and audits.
• Fluent English and Dutch proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Dutch payroll execution in Nmbrs across entities and pay groups.
• Ensure payroll tax and social security compliance and timely loonaangifte.
• Administer complex pay items: 30% ruling, expatriates, RSU/option taxation.
• Run and reconcile shadow payrolls for international assignees.
• Back up other country payrolls during peak periods and year-end.
• Lead root-cause analysis and durable fixes for payroll issues.
• Drive process harmonization and Nmbrs-based automation.
• Collaborate with HR Ops, Finance, Legal/Compliance, providers.
