Job summary

Crocs, Inc. is seeking a senior employment lawyer to advise executives and HR on Dutch employment law, handling investigations, restructurings, and leave administration while ensuring workplace compliance in the Netherlands.

You will support European and international matters, draft and negotiate employment agreements, and guide risk-based decisions with external counsel. The role requires collaboration across a global matrix and strong works council engagement.

Qualifications

• Qualified to practice law in the Netherlands and Dutch employment law expertise.
• 5+ years of legal experience in law firm and/or in-house.
• Experience across multiple international jurisdictions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise business leaders and HR on Dutch employment law matters, investigations, performance management, restructurings, dismissals, leave administration, and compliance.
• Support European and international employment matters by partnering with stakeholders and external counsel.
• Draft, review, and negotiate employment-related vendor agreements.
• Identify risks and provide practical guidance to support strategic decisions.
• Manage employment disputes and regulatory inquiries with external counsel.
• Monitor regulatory developments across the Netherlands, EU, and key markets.
• Lead cross-functional projects to strengthen compliance and efficiency.
• Build trusted relationships and contribute to the development of legal team capabilities.
• Work with HR to develop strong relationships with local works councils.
