Job summary

Arup in Amsterdam is seeking a Senior Design Manager to spearhead the technical delivery of complex data center projects. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate architects, engineers and consultants, and ensure design quality, constructability, risk and sustainability across all project stages.

The role is client-facing and requires strong leadership, collaboration and a deep understanding of the Science, Industry & Technology sectors.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in architecture, engineering or related discipline.
• Extensive senior experience in multidisciplinary design leadership from concept to delivery.
• Experience leading design on complex, multidisciplinary projects in science, industry or technology sectors.

Responsibilities

• Own and advance the design strategy across disciplines from early concept through delivery.
• Coordinate architects, engineers and consultants as a single integrated design team.
• Oversee design quality, constructability, risk, sustainability and long-term asset performance.
