Job summary

Winthrop Technologies Ltd. is seeking an experienced CSA Engineer to lead Civil, Structural, and Architectural elements on a large data centre project in Amsterdam.

You will ensure quality, safety, and programme compliance while coordinating with subcontractors, the QA team, and design engineers. Based on site in Amsterdam, you will review drawings, manage documentation, and drive issue resolution to achieve zero defects and timely handovers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience, ideally on large-scale construction or data centre projects.
• Strong knowledge of CSA construction methodologies, QA/QC processes, and Health & Safety compliance.
• Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage works to programme.
• Competent in reading, reviewing, and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in IT, with experience using construction management platforms for snagging, documentation, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Check works carried out and ensure quality control is maintained.
• Coordinate with QA managers to ensure documentation is submitted on time by contractors.
• Liaise with sub-contractors to track progress against schedule and run meetings.
• Manage site documentation and participate in site/engineering meetings.
• Review drawings with design team and resolve issues.
• Monitor snagging to ensure works meet drawings and specs and raise defects as needed.
