Job summary

Valcon is seeking a Project or Programme Manager to lead data-driven initiatives for clients, spanning data platforms, BI dashboards, and governance programmes. You will coordinate business leaders, architects, data engineers and analysts to deliver measurable value, align stakeholders, and remove blockers.

You will manage cross-functional teams, define deliverables and budgets, and ensure delivery aligns with strategic plans.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing data projects, programmes and/or teams.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, BI/reporting, and data governance frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management at operational and executive levels.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum, Prince2, and other PM methodologies.
• Able to connect data requirements to core business processes and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams across the full lifecycle of strategic data projects.
• Define and track deliverables, milestones, risks, and budgets.
• Coordinate internal and external teams and support decision making.
• Ensure strategic alignment between data initiatives and business objectives.
