Job summary

Valcon seeks a Senior Data Consultant (Analytics & Insights) to lead analytics initiatives, mentor team members, and guide clients in data-driven decision making. You will work with stakeholders to define data requirements, hypotheses, and end-to-end insight solutions, while shaping Valcon’s analytics practice.

You will lead data analyses, design dashboards, and implement frameworks to measure business outcomes, all while coaching junior colleagues and contributing to community standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business/data analysis, BI, or analytics, with consulting experience.
• Extensive experience with SQL and BI tools (Power BI, Qlik, Tableau).
• Able to work with complex datasets and design end-to-end insight solutions.
• Strong data modelling understanding and ability to connect data to business outcomes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; leadership experience.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead data analyses and translate findings into business recommendations.
• Define dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Define and implement frameworks to track business outcomes with stakeholders.
• Coach mid-level and junior analysts on best practices.
• Act as sparring partner for clients on data topics (BI, data quality, governance).
• Contribute to Valcon’s analytics and BI community.
• Help shape standards, frameworks and best practices.
