Job summary

EY in Amsterdam seeks a Senior Data Product Architect to translate business ambitions into scalable data products, governance models and operating frameworks. You will lead end-to-end data product design, collaborate with data engineering, architecture and governance teams, and help shape client proposals to deliver measurable value.

The role emphasizes lifecycle management, data contracts, and value-driven design, with opportunities to drive EY’s governance thought leadership.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data architecture, governance, engineering, or data product management.
• Client-facing consultancy experience.
• Strong understanding of data product concepts and lifecycle management.
• Experience with enterprise data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, AWS).
• Familiarity with DAMA DMBOK and data governance tools (Collibra, IBM WatsonX.Governance).
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and senior business stakeholders.
• Dutch language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of data products across their full lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and continuous improvement.
• Define and implement data product frameworks, operating models, governance structures, and lifecycle management.
• Drive data product thinking across client organisations with data as a product concept, domain-driven design, and self-service tooling.
• Ensure data products are discoverable, reusable, and trusted with metadata, lineage and access policies.
• Collaborate with data engineering, architecture and governance teams to design scalable data solutions.
• Facilitate workshops to align business, data and technology priorities and value delivery.
• Support business development by shaping proposals and presenting data product concepts to senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to EY’s data governance and data product thought leadership go-to-market activities.
