Job summary

Keyrock’s Central Data Team is building a Data Platform to give traders, product, risk, and research the data and context they need to act quickly within agreed boundaries.

As an early hire, you will design pipelines, governance, and lakehouse patterns, partnering with trading, product, risk, and research to enable data-driven decisions. You’ll own streaming systems and self-serve tooling, shaping our data-driven future.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of building production data systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Code that's easy to read, test, and maintain.
• Strong data modelling for streaming and analytical workloads.
• Observability, efficiency, and idempotency are priorities.

Responsibilities

• Build streaming and batch pipelines ingesting market and portfolio data, robust to failures.
• Develop self-serve tooling (SDKs, templates, AI agents) for data product authors.
• Own data contracts and schema evolution to avoid multi-team coordination chaos.
• Design lakehouse and time-series layer around common query patterns.
• Implement data governance and quality framework including lineage and validation.
• Develop analytics for desks and wealth/asset management.
• Prioritize observability, cost control, and performance from day one.
• Treat infrastructure as code with Docker, Terraform, CI/CD.
