Job summary

Walker & Dunlop's WDTech team seeks a Senior Data Analyst to deliver trusted data insights across the organization. You will analyze complex datasets, develop reporting solutions, and translate data into actionable insights to improve operational effectiveness and strategic initiatives.

You will work with data professionals across the organization to ensure data products are accurate, scalable, and aligned with evolving business needs as Walker & Dunlop grows as a data-driven company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in data analysis, BI, or analytics roles with end-to-end ownership.
• Experience with enterprise databases (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or similar).
• Experience creating dashboards/reports with Power BI, Tableau or similar tools.
• Strong SQL, data transformation, and analytic reporting workflows.
• Python and geospatial analysis preferred.
• Real estate, financial services, or related industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and curate data sources to support stakeholders in decision making.
• Lead components of the analytical lifecycle: exploration, analysis, reporting, insight delivery.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for all audiences.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions.
• Perform data wrangling, transformation, and analysis using SQL and enterprise databases.
• Define datasets, business logic, and reporting definitions for consistent data usage.
• Collaborate with data and product teams on governance and data quality.
