DEPT® is a Growth Invention company that helps ambitious brands grow, bridging technology and marketing. The Senior Data Analyst / BI Engineer will unify data sources, automate reporting, and interact with internal and external stakeholders to deliver data products.

The role emphasizes SQL development, data architecture, and dashboards across platforms. You will ingest data via APIs and ETL tools, transform data with Python, and visualize insights using Tableau, Looker/Data Studio, or similar

Qualifications

• Proven experience with data visualization and dashboards.
• Strong SQL development and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience designing data architectures and data lineage.
• Experience with digital marketing data ecosystems.
• Scripting in JavaScript or Google Apps Script.
• Experience with data platforms (SQL Server, BigQuery, Snowflake, Azure).
• Knowledge of data transfer tools and secure storage (SSIS, Matillion, SFTP, S3).
• Familiarity with GCP or similar platforms.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks to completion.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to assess automation needs.
• Lead projects to evolve data processes and reporting.
• Own data quality and validate datasets against sources of truth.
• Develop and support data visualization tools and recurring reports.
• Build automated data ingestion and transformation workflows.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver data products for clients.
