Job summary

Walker & Dunlop's WDTech team seeks a Senior Data Analyst to deliver trusted data insights and scalable analytics across the organization. You will build dashboards, perform data wrangling, and translate complex datasets into actionable recommendations for product and business stakeholders.

The role requires 6+ years in data analytics, strong SQL, and experience with Snowflake/BigQuery, plus proficiency in Power BI or Tableau.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in data analysis, BI, or analytics roles with end-to-end ownership.
• Experience with enterprise analytical databases (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Strong SQL, data transformation, and analytics workflows.
• Experience with Python and geospatial analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and curate data sources to support stakeholders in decision-making.
• Lead analytics lifecycle including exploration, analysis, reporting, and insight delivery.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Perform data wrangling, transformation, and analysis using SQL and databases.
• Define datasets, business logic, and reporting definitions for consistent data usage.
• Partner with data and product teams to support data governance and data quality.
• Analyze user engagement, operations, and product data to spot trends and opportunities.
• Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in analytics and stakeholder collaboration.
