Job summary

Awin is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to advance machine learning, forecasting, and analytical capabilities across the business. You will work with Product, Commercial, Engineering, and Data teams to translate business challenges into scalable data-driven solutions, delivering measurable impact through robust evaluation and governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data science or ML roles.
• Experience delivering ML solutions from discovery to production and business impact.
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and deployment of ML and analytical solutions with measurable business impact.
• Partner with Product, Commercial, Engineering, and Data teams to translate challenges into data-driven solutions.
• Design evaluation frameworks, experiments, and success metrics to measure outcomes.
• Apply statistical modelling and ML techniques to solve complex problems and generate insights.
• Build scalable feature pipelines, model development, and deployment workflows with Data/Software teams.
• Drive rapid MVP development with path to production-ready solutions.
• Promote best practices for model development, evaluation, monitoring, and governance.
• Mentor and support other data scientists within the team.
