Job summary

Elsevier is seeking a Senior Product Manager to define and deliver the strategy for machine and AI access to ScienceDirect content. You will collaborate across product, technology, legal, and commercial teams to shape access, governance, and monetization in an evolving AI ecosystem.

The role requires leading product roadmaps, working with engineers on data formats and delivery mechanisms, and testing use cases through pilots and experiments.

Qualifications

• Proven digital product management competencies with data-driven decision making.
• Experience owning API, data or developer-facing products and shipping with engineering teams.
• Familiarity with AI content consumption patterns and related platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the strategy for machine and AI access to Elsevier’s content.
• Translate strategy into a product roadmap and lead delivery with engineering.
• Lead customer discovery and pilots to validate machine-to-machine use cases.
• Shape entitlement models and access tiers for machine use.
• Contribute to how machine usage and value are measured and reported.
