Job summary

ABN AMRO Bank N.V. is seeking a Senior control consultant for data, AI and BCBS239 to mature and drive the Control Framework for Data Management and help establish AI controls. You will define, implement, and monitor data & AI controls with a clear planning overview and transparent action tracking.

You will work with data leadership, data stewards, and capability owners to ensure alignment, governance, and risk management across the bank’s data initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years work experience with consulting background.
• Strong getting-things-done mindset to drive goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-department influence.
• Experience in managing large change programs in complex environments.
• Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Management concepts (DAMA DMBoK, BCBS239). Desirable in Audit/Compliance.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred in relevant fields.

Responsibilities

• Establish control roadmaps for Central Data & AI Office and Data Domain organisations.
• Maintain a single view of data management & AI control for the bank.
• Track and challenge actions; align outcomes with stakeholders.
• Identify controls required for regulations (BCBS239, AI Act).
• Contribute to Process Risk Assessments, KRIs and Reference Controls in 2nd line risk framework.
• Spot deviations and maintain overall control picture.
